Some taxa have no leaders yet. So if you
don't find a taxon leader for yours below, please consider volunteering
for the job (send an email to Bryan
Pfeiffer).
Many
of you will convene and get to work when the BioBlitz starts at
3pm on Friday, July 11. Others will do all or most of their survey
work at night (moth and bat folks, for example) and others will
be busy at dawn on Saturday (birders). Your taxon leaders can help
coordinate this. We also recognize that many of you will survey
only when you have the time; that’s fine. Just try to work
out when and where with your taxon leader.

Taxon leaders are the nice folks who coordinate survey work among
a given group of BioBlitzers. They
disperse their BioBlitzers to various locations in Montpelier. And
they compile a final species list for their given taxon so we can
have a preliminary at the end of the BioBlitz. It’s all fairly
informal.
