This extensive state forest includes several small state parks
with various camping options. Although most camping is about
a 40-minute drive to Montpelier, Groton is a delightful place.
We suggest you reserve a campsite in advance. The most convient

Discovery Campground. Other options in the forest include: Stillwater
State Park and Ricker
Pond State Park.
